We have moved!

Come join us over at indiegameschool.com

Indie Game School started out as a blog on all things indiedev – making fun little original games and the process of getting there.

Soon, it grew into an actual online school, starting with FPS101, the course on rapid prototyping with Unity and Playmaker. Now, we’re in the process of developing a range of course streams on game audio, the 3D game asset development pipeline and game design. Our goal is to provide high quality courses and teaching for an indie price point: cheap, great classes that are fun and full of great people.

Guido Gautsch

Guido Gautsch

Founder

When Guido started learning how to make his own games, he’ quickly discovered that there’s a LOT to learn, even if you just want to make a simple game. While he found tons of free materials online, he felt that following tutorials was a lonely and boring experience. There was no supportive learning community where he could learn how to bring his game ideas to life. He set up indie game school with the intention of finding the best teachers around the world, giving them a world-class teaching platform and offering fun and cheap courses for anyone interested in indie game development.
